Membership includes:

  • Free access to the museum on all open days
  • Access to our local history library and photographic collection
  • Affiliation with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria and its activities

Volunteer

If you are interested in the history of the area and would like to volunteer, we would love to talk with you.

You may be able to help with cataloguing our collection, research, speaking to community groups, interviewing for oral histories, gardening, maintenance, displays, exhibits and more.

We look forward to hearing from you. 

Donate items

We are always interested in adding historical items to our collection and welcome donations of items which are relevant to the history of our area (Ormond, McKinnon, Bentleigh, Bentleigh East, Heatherton, Moorabbin, Highett and Cheltenham).
